News Release A FESTIVAL SHOWCASING LATIN MUSIC AND CULTURE
As part of the 6th annual Latin Festival, Lula Music and Arts Centre is proud to partner with the Hispanic Canadian Arts & Cultural Association to present an exciting event that brings the Latin American culture to life in the City of Toronto The Latin Festival 2017 is a unique one-week event that celebrates the culture of Latin America from Saturday October 21 to Friday October 27, 2017 at Lula Lounge in Toronto. This flavourful festival will showcase the finest Latin music in Canada, along with a featured film and a samba drumming workshops.
Attendees will enjoy live entertainment by top performers such as Juno winner Hilario Duran Quartet, Latin Divas Eliana Cuevas and Valeria Matzner; Café Cubano, one of Toronto's most popular salsa bands, rising star Manny Cardenas and his band, Samba Toronto and Spanish rock battle of the band with Saul Torres Band and The Paper Parachute band. There will be a showcase of a Latin Film with commentaries and a samba drumming workshop by Samba Toronto.
