LOCATION, PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
Where is Lula Lounge located?
We are at 1585 Dundas Street West in the west end of Toronto – a block and a half west of Dufferin street. We are on the south side.
What are your hours?
- Main Room & Balcony
Lula Lounge's Friday & Saturday salsa nights run from 7:00pm to 2:00am. Dinner is served from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Later in the evening we offer bottle service and a late night menu. The hours for the rest of the events vary, please refer to our Calendar of Events for more information.
- Havana Lounge
Lula's Havana Lounge restaurant is now open for lunch & dinner every day Sunday through Thursday!
Monday - Thursday 11:00am to 11:00pm
Friday & Saturday 11:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm to 10:00pm.
Where can I park?
There is metered street parking on Dundas Street and Parking Indigo Toronto - 1544 Dundas St W. Additional Green P parking can be found on Bonar Place just north of College Street.
Is Lula Lounge accessible?
The front entrance to Lula is fully accessible. There is one step down onto the dance floor and one or two steps to the elevated dining areas. We have a movable ramp that allows wheelchairs and walkers to access the dance floor and the elevated dining area on the east side. There is a fully accessible universal washroom on the main floor off the lobby. The coat check, basement washrooms and mezzanine areas are not yet accessible. Requests related to accessibility can be directed to info@lula.ca. Clients are encouraged to reach out before visiting us if they have questions or concerns.

What band is playing at Lula Lounge?
We host a wide range of music and other events but weekends are always devoted to salsa. The salsa bands performing vary from week to week and you can see which band is playing on a particular evening on our Calendar of Events. Band listings are usually posted about 4 weeks in advance but it's safe to assume that we have salsa starting at 9:00 pm each Friday and Saturday.
What is the dress code at Lula Lounge?
On Fridays and Saturdays the dress code for Lula's salsa nights is smart casual or "party glamour fun." We request no running shoes or sports caps. Guests often dress in cocktail attire but jeans and a nice shirt and dress shoes will also fit in. On other nights of the week, if there is a dress code it will be listed in the event information.
Do you offer coat check?
Coat check is available on the lower level for $3 a coat. Please note that during the winter season coat check is mandatory.

What is your menu like?
- Main Room & Balcony
The dinner menu at Lula Lounge is Mexican and Latin American inspired, featuring ancestral ingredients and recipes from all regions. There are options for both vegetarian, vegan and meat eaters, so you can have all your friends enjoy a great night out together.
- Havana Lounge
In Lula Lounge's Havana Lounge we chose to be home of not one but three pop-up restaurants! You can choose from one Mercado Menu - Enjoy sourdough crust pizza and pasta from Pizza Azul, authentic Mexican tacos and quesadillas from Flor Mexicana, tropical salads or our famous fried chicken sandwiches marinated in our top-secret spiced buttermilk for 24 hours from Bird Box!
What are the dinner hours?
On weekends we offer a prix fixe dinner menu from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. The late night menu is available after 10:30pm for our second seating. Weeknight menus vary slightly from event to event and feature the Latin fusion items available on Fridays and Saturdays, on an a la carte basis.
Do I have to book for dinner to get a table?
Yes, because our seating is so limited, we reserve our tables for those who wish to dine. After 11:00pm you can also book a table for the bottle service package. However, if we don’t sell out for our dinner & show prix fixe, we will offer any tables available to walk-in clients. Priority will be given to those wishing to order food. Please note that on Friday and Saturday nights we only accept dinner & show prix fixe reservations for the 7:00pm to 10:00pm seating. Reservations can be made for bottle service for the later seating.
What is the dinner and show prix fixe?
The package for Fridays and Saturdays it includes a three-course meal, salsa lesson and the performance by the live band and DJ. On most weeknights when live music is presented, we offer the same dinner menu on an a la carte basis. On all evenings, dinner reservations guarantee seating.
Running late?
Please call 416 588 0307 to notify our host. We provide a 15 minute grace period for your arrival. Should everyone not be present from the reservation within 15 minutes of the reservation time, then the booking will be cancelled and a walk-in could be seated accordingly. We strive to be as flexible as we can and appreciate your understanding.
Do you offer take out?
We have a selection of fantastic authentic Mexican cuisine from Flor Mexicana, delicious pizza from Pizza Azul and American comfort food from Bird Box.

Can I book Lula for a private party?
Absolutely! Lula is a great spot to host a wedding, office party, holiday party or family reunion. Let us know what you are looking for by filling in THIS FORM. Our events manager will get back to you with menu and pricing information.
Does Lula Lounge have special for birthday parties, bachelorette parties and other occasions?

Can I ask the band to announce a birthday or anniversary?
Yes, If you tell us about a birthday or anniversary when you make your reservation we will do our best to have the band or dance instructor make an announcement.

Do I need a partner for the dance lesson?
You don't need a partner for the dance lesson. It's really just a way to warm up the crowd and get everyone in a party mood.
Can I pay cover at the door?
Yes, provided that there are still tickets available, you can purchase at the door on the night of. All our events and tickets can be found at Lula.ca/calendar.
What is the cancelation policy?
Reservation cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $25 per person cancellation fee charged to the card provided when making the reservation. If you have to change your plans, please call us as soon as possible.
Do I need to confirm my final guest counts?
After you've heard back from your guests, call us back to confirm the reservation numbers. We will require a credit card number to hold the spots for you at the time you reserve. We don't charge anything to the card in advance of the night. However, there will be a $25 per person charge for any confirmed spots reserved that are not used.
What is your policy for split bills & gratuities? As is industry standard, an 18% pre-tax service gratuity will automatically be added to parties of 6 people or more, regardless of whether the bills are split or not. These gratuities are distributed among all our servers, bartenders, bussers, food runners and cooks who work very hard to provide you with a fantastic, memorable evening. Please inform your guests of these policies in advance so everyone is on the same page on the night of.
Do you offer corkage?
Not at this time. Lula Lounge does not presently hold a license that allows us to offer corkage.
Can I bring a cake?
If you have a reservation, you are welcome to bring a cake for an extra $25 + HST charge. Please note that our dinner and show package includes a delicious dessert for each guest but you are welcome to bring your own in addition. In either case, we can provide a candle for the guest of honor.
Please note that a $40 + HST external cake fee will be charged if you are bringing a cake to Lula without a table reservation. Please call us in advance so that we can let you know if a table is available for serving the cake.
Are there any hotels near you?
The closest hotels to Lula are the Gladstone Hotel and the Drake Hotel. There are some great Air BnBs in the area. If you choose to stay downtown, it's an easy streetcar ride on Dundas.
How do I get my band to perform at Lula?

COVID & AGE PROTOCOLS
Do I have to wear a mask?
We no longer require wearing a mask in our establishment.
Do I need to show my proof of vaccination?
We no longer require vaccine passports.
Is there an age restriction?
Our restaurant license allows people of all ages to attend concerts at Lula. We require that those under 19 be escorted by a parent or legal guardian. Since we are a restaurant, minors under the age of 19 are welcome up until 11pm, if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We ask anyone not of legal drinking age to depart by 11pm.
